For safety reasons, people without the Conference badge will not be allowed to circulate inside the Conference building.

**Note : only cash (Euro) or credit card payment will be accepted for on-site registration.

After May 15, only on-site registration will be accepted, with an extra charge of 25%. Thus, registering in advance is strongly recommended if you want to save time and money and queuing up at the registration desk. On the other hand, advanced registration enables you to have all your Conference materials ready for you when arriving on site.



What is included

Full registration fee: Abstracts and Conference Program booklets, Conference Proceedings in CD form, participant kit, Welcome Party, coffee breaks.

Student/retired registration fee: Abstracts and Conference Program booklets, participant kit, Welcome Party, coffee breaks.

Companion registration fee: Access to conference building, Welcome Party and coffee breaks.

Financial support for scientists from developing countries

In order to favour the Conference attendance of scientists from developing countries, the IUPAP (International Union of Pure and Applied Physics) will provide a limited number of grants to fully offset travel expenses (up to a maximum of Euro 500 for each award). It should be noted that scientists from developed countries are not eligible for such kind of support.

As the ICM2003 Conference is sponsored by the European Physical Society (EPS), the EPS provides through the East West Fund grants to individual physicist working in and originating from less favoured European countries. The rules for obtaining grants through the East West Fund by participants to an ESP Sponsored Conference can be found at http://www.fzu.cz/varia/ewtf

ONRIFO financial support for US students

The ICM has received funding for support of a limited number of student travel awards, in the amount of $500 each, for US students traveling to  attend ICM 2003. The rules for obtaining grants can be found at

However, in order to speed up the registration procedure at the Conference registration desks, we kindly suggest you to fill in the on-line registration form (CLOSED). This will allow the secretariat to prepare your registration material in advance.




On-site Registration

Registration at the Conference will open at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday July 27th. All the conference attendees, including speakers, must register at the Conference, pay registration fees and receive an official conference badge.
EVERY ATTENDEE MUST WEAR HER/HIS OFFICIAL CONFERENCE BADGE TO ENTER THE CONGRESS BUILDING AND ANY TECHNICAL SESSIONS.

To pick up your registration materials or to register on-site, please go to the Conference Registration Desks, at the main entrance of Palazzo dei Congressi (Piazza J.F. Kennedy). The Conference Registration Desks will be open as indicated:
